Withington C of E Primary School caters for children from 2 to 11.
2-5 year-olds are nurtured in our Foundation Stage Unit from pre-school through to Reception. The Foundation Stage Unit allows children to benefit from play and learning opportunities as we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum which is based on learning through play.
Our Key Stage 1 children learn in our ‘Busy Bees’ classroom and have recently studied bees and honey, space and how transport has changed in England over the past 200 years.
The Key Stage 2 children – our Class 3 Juniors – get a rich and varied learning experience at Withington. You can find out more about what the class has done recently on our KS2 section.
In our ‘School Life and Classes’ section you can also find out more about Sports and PE at the school with reports of recent activities, Special Events – workshops, celebrations and trips, and visit our ‘International’ section to learn more about how Withington is involved in overseas projects and how we encourage cultural awareness through initiatives like our international breakfasts.
