AliMrs Alison Moseley – KS1 Teacher (Busy Bees)
Describe yourself in three words
Passionate, caring, kindhearted.

What do you like best about teaching
Working with children – there is no better feeling than helping a child understand something they couldn’t understand before. Also I love the fact that children ask completely honest questions and need to know the answers.

When you are not teaching what do you like doing
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends; walking, camping, exploring. I also enjoy dancing; myself and Mr Moseley enjoy 1940s Lindy hop jive. We spend a lot of time engaged in church activities, worship band, preparing services and Messy Church.

catherineMrs Catherine Loly – KS2 Teacher (Dragonflies)
Describe yourself in three words
Enthusiastic, caring and fair.

What do you like best about teaching
I went into teaching because I wanted to be able to give children the confidence to ‘have a go’ and enable them understand that it is fine to make mistakes; from mistakes comes real learning and from this the children begin to have faith in themselves and their abilities. I love seeing children’s smiley faces and their confidence grow when they achieve something – big or little.

When you are not teaching what do you like doing
It is the simple things that make me happy – a walk in the woods with my dog, baking a cake, cooking a casserole, curling up somewhere comfortable with a book or spending time with my family and friends.
